Investing in Charlotte County is Good for Business

 
 

Mission Statement: To encourage the recruitment, expansion and retention of diversified high impact industry. To create high skill, high wage jobs and to diversify the economy and tax base.

 

The Enterprise Charlotte Economic Council is a 501(c) (6) investor-driven organization established to provide a funding vehicle for businesses to invest in the long-term economic vitality of Charlotte County.

The Council partners with the Charlotte County Economic Development Office in recruiting diversified, high impact industries to Charlotte County. The Council raises private sector money to support the efforts of the Economic Development Office. A Board of Directors governs the Council which meets on a monthly basis and is not subject to Florida Sunshine Laws.

The Council’s goals this year focus on expanding economic development in Charlotte County and the region, bringing in site selectors and working with local, regional and state counterparts to advance measures that will encourage business growth.
